Pitney Fence & Landscape are Somerset's trusted fencing specialists. From new installations and bespoke gate fitting to emergency repairs following storm damage, we provide a complete fencing service for domestic, agricultural, and commercial clients across the county.
We understand that fencing is rarely a luxury — it provides security, privacy, and boundary definition that homeowners and landowners depend on. That is why we approach every fencing project, large or small, with the same level of care and precision. Our installations are built to withstand the Somerset weather, with all materials sourced for quality and longevity.
Our fencing services cover a wide range of styles and applications. For domestic gardens, we specialise in closeboard and featheredge fencing — the most popular and robust choice for full privacy — as well as panel fencing, picket fencing, post and rail, and decorative options to suit period properties. For agricultural and rural clients, we have extensive experience installing post and wire, post and rail, electric fencing, and stock-proof boundaries across fields, paddocks, and estates throughout the Somerset Levels and surrounding areas.
Gate installation is a natural complement to our fencing work. We supply and fit timber and metal gates in a full range of styles, from simple field gates to bespoke driveway entrances with drop bolts and locking systems.
Fence repairs are handled with the same professionalism as new installations. We assess the full length of a damaged fence rather than patching individual panels, ensuring the repair is structurally sound and consistent in appearance. Following storms — which can cause sudden and significant fence damage across Somerset — we aim to respond promptly and get your boundary secure as quickly as possible.
All work is fully insured and carried out by our experienced local team. We cover from Langport, Somerton, Yeovil, Taunton, and all surrounding villages and rural areas.
